쌍꺼풀 부작용 중에 속눈썹이 들리고 점막이 노출되는 현상이 있는데

생기는 것인지 정확히 알려드릴게요

Eyelash eversion is a common complication of blepharoplasty procedure.

Some people misunderstand that the misdirection of the eyelashes is caused by the levator shortening procedure.



눈매교정은 눈을 더 크게 뜨게 하는 수술기법으로 눈뜨는 안검거근(눈뜨는 근육)

힘줄을 짧게 해서 근육과 눈꺼풀 끝 안검판 사이를 더 팽팽하게 만들어요

Levator shortening or plication is a surgical technique that causes eyelids to open wider by shortening

the levator palpebrae(eye opening muscle) tendon. It makes the tension of the muscle higher.

근육 자체의 힘을 강하게 하는 것은 아니지만,
근육이 수축했을 때, 안검판의 운동 거리를 더 길게 크게 만들고

그 힘은 좀 더 많은 운동을 하도록 도와줘요

Although it cannot strengthen the muscle itself,

it makes the distance of the tarsal plate movement

longer.

눈의 진짜 크기 위 아래 눈꺼풀의 속눈썹과 속눈썹 사이의 거리를 더 넓게

만들어주는 것으로 조개가 껍질을 더 활짝 벌리고,

입을 더 크게 벌리는 것과 비슷해요

Making the distance between eyelashes of the upper and lower eyelids wider

is similar to seashells opening their mouth wide.

그런데 입을 너무 크게 벌리면 표정이 아름답지 않은 것처럼

눈을 너무 크게 뜨면 눈 주변에 몇가지 문제를 만들 수 있어요

Hence, too much opening of the mouth causes  facial expressions to be distorted.

The same goes for eye opening.  There are problems when the levator tendon is too wide.

첫번째로 눈 위가 너무 두툼해지는 것이예요

First of all, puffy eyelids

눈매교정은 결국 눈꺼풀을 좀 더 깊게 접어주는 것인데 깊게 접혀서 피부와 조직들이

여러 겹 모이는 부분의 눈두덩이가 불룩 앞으로 나오게 돼요

Strong tension on a levator tendon causes the lid to fold too closely to the double eyelid line way more than the upper part of the eyelids bulges forward.

두번째로 쌍꺼풀이 작거나 무쌍인 경우에는 쌍꺼풀 라인 위 피부가

속눈썹과 충돌하기 때문에 속눈썹이 결막을 찌르거나 자극할 수 있어요

Secondly, if the lid crease is too low especially for Asians,

eyelashes may sting or irritate a conjunctiva because the skin above the eyelid line may push lashes downward and inward.

그래서 무쌍 눈매교정에서 실제로 무쌍의 형태로 눈매교정이 되는 것이 아니라

속쌍으로 눈매교정이 되는 것이예요

For an Asian single-fold eyelid, a levator shortening procedure could not be performed without forming a double fold line. Even if the fold might be seen as a single fold, it has another fold inside a double fold.

진짜 무쌍의 상태에서의 눈매교정은 속눈썹이 결막을 찔러서 제대로 눈 뜨기 어려워요

A levator procedure for a real single-fold case, the eyelashes will a conjunctiva

so it will be more difficult to open the eyes naturally.

세번째 눈 모양이 삼각형 모양이 돼요

Third, the shape of eyes become triangular.

눈매교정 효과는 눈의 중앙에서는 매우 크고 눈 앞머리에서는

약할 뿐 아니라 중앙에서의 과교정은 앞머리 부분의 둥근 커브를

직선화 시켜서 눈 앞머리에서는 눈이 오히려 작아진 느낌이 나요

The levator plication increases the mid portion of a palpebral fissure more than inner and outer parts. Furthermore over-correction might straightens the

curvature of a eyelid margin at the inner part.

그래서 둥근 아름다운 눈이 아니라 뾰족한 산모양의 눈으로 만들어져요

So it can't produce a rounded beautiful eye, rather a sharp mountain-shaped eye.

그 외에 눈을 더 크게 뜨니까 쌍꺼풀 주변에 더 압박을 가하고

그래서 원치 않는 주름들이 만들어져요

Other than that, eyes open more widely and there is more pressure around and eyelids. Also it may create unwanted wrinkles and folds.

이러한 심각한 문제 때문에 신기하면서도

효과적인 눈매교정은 적절하게 조정되어 사용되어야 하고,

조금이라도 과교정 느낌이 난다면 즉시 교정이어야 해요

Because of these serious problems,

levator shortening or plication techniques should be carefully applied.

If you feel any over-correction, it should be fixed immediately.

안검거근 힘줄을 단축시키는 눈매교정은 오랜 시간이 지나면

수술로 풀어주어도 조직 주변의 유착으로 눈뜨는 정도를 조절하기가 매우 어려워지고,

과교정이 재발하는 경우가 많아요

Unwinding the levator palpebrae muscle tendon is very difficult after it passes about 3 month.

Even if it can be unwinded temporarily, over-correction may often reoccur due to the adhesion around tissues.

왜냐하면 이 유착이 생기는 부분이 공교롭게도 눈을 뜨고 감을 때

매끄럽게 운동해야 할 안검거근 힘줄과 그 주변의 조직 사이에 발생하기 때문이예요

Because the adhesions occur on a gliding surface, the place where a levator tendon should move freely during eyelid opening and closing .

그렇다면 속눈썹 들림 현상도 눈매교정 과교정이 원인일까?

Then, eyelash eversion is also caused by a levator shortening?

속눈썹 들림 현상은 쌍꺼풀 라인을 고정할 때 속눈썹과 연결된 피부를

그림에서 1번의 위치보다 더 당겨서 높은 위치에 고정하기 때문에

발생하는 현상으로 쌍꺼풀 라인 아래 피부가 당겨지면 속눈썹이 들리고

그 속눈썹 아래의 흰 살도 밖으로 드러나 보이게 돼요

Eyelash eversions occur, because the fixation of the lid crease retracts the skin and

the eyelashes higher. The lid crease is unnaturally fixed at a high point (No 1 in the pic). Because the skin under the line and the eyelashes are lifted, the white conjunctiva just below the lashes is also exposed.

보기엔 매우 흉측하고 고민스럽지만 안검거근이나 눈매교정 과교정이 원인은 아니예요

An eyelash eversion and conjunctival exposure is not a result of a levator procedure. It is resulted from an unnatural lid crease fixation procedure. Fortunately, this unnatural fixation can be corrected easily by a revision blepharoplasty.

이런 현상들은 안검거근 힘줄이 운동하는 부분보다 아래쪽

말단부에서 일어나는 현상으로 수술 후 유착이 발생해도

눈을 뜨고 감는 운동과는 관계가 없어요

Because a lid crease fixation is happening below the gliding zone of the levator palpebrae tendon.

Surgical adhesion does not affect the movement of the levator muscle.

따라서 속눈썹 들림, 점막 들림 현상은 가급적 빨리 풀어야 하는

눈매교정 과교정과는 달리 아무리 오래 되어도 잘 풀어줄 수 있어요

Therefore, unlike a levator shortening procedure which should be corrected as

soon as possible,

an eyelash eversion deformity can be fixed even after a long period of time.

눈매교정 과교정은 운동하는 부분에서 일어난 일이므로

빨리 교정해서 유착을 최소화해야 하며,

속눈썹 들림 현상은 아무리 오래 되어도 잘 교정되므로 걱정하지 않아도 돼요

And adhesion happens on a movable zone by a levator procedure should be corrected very quickly in order to minimize the adhesion, but everted eyelashes can be solved at any time no matter how long it has been done. so don't worry about it!!!!
